All foreign visitors wishing to enter the Republic of Korea must have a valid passport, with some visitors being required to obtain a Korean visa before their departure. Below are 99 countries whose citizens may temporarily enter without a visa according to visa exemption agreements (Table 1), or in accordance with principles of reciprocity or national interest (Table 2).

K-ETA (Korea Electronic Travel Authorization)

Nationals of countries/regions eligible for visa-free entry are required to get K-ETA approval to board the flight bound for the Republic of Korea. K-ETA approval should be applied at least 72 hours prior to boarding the flight bound. You can apply for K-ETA website (www.k-eta.go.kr) or mobile app (K-ETA).
